POAC will offer workshops at GCU

On Friday, April 18, Georgian Court University will host a workshop, “Tools of the Trade: Adding ABA and VB to your Toolbox.”

It will take place in The Little Theatre from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This workshop will focus on pairing the principles of behavior analysis with the specialty area of speech language training.

It will be presented by Linda Jeanne Schwartz, a board-certified Behavior Analyst and licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

A two-day intensive workshop will take place from Saturday, May 3 through Sunday, May 4, also in GCU’s Little Theatre, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. both days.

“Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis and Teaching Verbal Behavior” will be presented by Christina Burk, M.A.

Burk is a consulting Behavior Analyst based out of Westchester County, N.Y.

As always, the workshops POAC offers are free to parents, educators and administrators. Pre-registration is required and lunch will not be provided.
