Pulitzer rumors, nothing official

Nothing is official yet, but several awards have been reported on So it Be . . . Maybe, a blog that writes about things before they actually happen.

(Its own disclaimer: “It is most likely not true and should be treated as such.”)

I’m just hungry for some winners, here. This is what I found in my search.

Note: I do not claim that these are the winners of the 2008 Pulitzer Prizes. These are only rumored recipients.

So it Be is reporting that the Virginia Tech newspaper, The Collegiate Times, has won for Breaking News Reporting for its coverage on the VT Tragedy.

Other awards might include: The Chicago Tribune for Investigative Reporting, Shai Oster of The Wall Street Journal for International Reporting and Paul Krugman of The New York Times for Commentary (Journalism).

Check back for the actual winners later today.
