Cleaning up town, one step at a time

The Borough of Keyport is taking small steps in its effort to clean up town.

Councilman William Ortman announced he is working with residents to create a volunteer litter clean-up group at the April 14 meeting.

“It is something we are looking to put together,” he said. Ortman’s response came after many residents presented their concerns at previous meetings.

He mentioned working with the community and coordinating with the Keyport Public Works as well as the Garden Club for this project.
