Keyport: Rebuilding history

The Borough is scheduled to have its Keyport Unified Planning Board (KUPB) meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Borough Hall.

Agenda items include Case No. 08-02 involving Peter Volpe at 106 Green Grove Ave. and his use-variance request to convert the second floor of an expanded garage into a two-bedroom apartment and office space for his landscaping business.

The Borough tax records indicate the proposed lots in question are located in a residential district. A landscaping business operation is not a permitted use in such an area.

Also on the agenda is Case No. 08-03 regarding 75 Church St. and Judith Valdes’s request to divide a 9000-square-foot lot into two undersized lots, one with an existing house.

The Asbury Park Press also posted an article online about the anticipated Waterfront finalization.

I imagine the Waterfront’s progress will be addressed at the KUPB meeting, as well.
