Spaghetti dinner to benefit Relay for Life

Passed along from Jim Purcell’s blog . . .

“A fundraiser dinner will be held on Saturday, May 17, from 2 to 6 p.m., at the Keyport First Aid Squad, 1927 Atlantic St.

The event will benefit Keyport’s team in the Middletown Relay for Life, for the American Cancer Society.”

We all love spaghetti, so go have some and support an amazing cause.

I have taken part in the Relay for Life campaign many years. It is something close to my heart, as I have lost several loved ones to cancer.

The wonderful thing is, I also know many more who have and are surviving with the disease.

Keyport is a vibrant town. I hope its community will support the fight against cancer.
