Bank robbery in M’town

The Bank of America on the corner of Navesink River Road and Route 35 in Middletown was robbed at approximately noon on Wednesday, June 4, according to officials.

Det. Lt. Joseph Capriotti said no one was injured and that the police department has one suspect.

Capriotti said no one has been charged yet.

The detective said the case is being investigated by the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Alyssa Passeggio and I arrived at approximately 1 p.m. and missed all the fun. But I was able to take pictures.
