No senior picnic? No comment

According to an anonymous source, the Middletown High School North senior picnic was canceled this morning because the senior class was “the worst class in the history of Middletown North.”

Apparently several students were upset about this, and there was allegedly some form of protest this morning outside the high school.

Unfortunately, I arrived when everything had cleared.

I did, however, seek Principal Patricia Vari-Cartier. I asked her about the senior picnic being canceled this morning and the incident that occurred.

She said she had no comment and that the incident was “over before it started.” She also said she wanted only “positive news” in the community papers.

Well, I think if this is true – that the senior picnic was canceled based on subjections – then that’s not entirely a positive thing for the Middletown School System.

More to come, check back soon.
